1. Asphalt: The sample is placed in a constant temperature bath at 25 ℃± 0.1 ℃, and a standard needle with a load of 100 grams ± 0.05 grams is vertically moved without obvious friction. The depth of penetration into the asphalt sample within 5 seconds is called the asphalt penetration degree to identify the viscosity of the asphalt. The greater the penetration of asphalt, the lower the viscosity of asphalt, and the softer the asphalt.
2. Lubricating grease: The depth at which the sample is placed in a constant temperature bath at 25 ℃± 0.1 ℃ and a standard cone with a load of 150 grams moves vertically without obvious friction and sinks into the lubricating grease or petroleum grease within 5 seconds is called the cone penetration degree of lubricating grease or petroleum grease, which is used to identify the softness and hardness of the lubricating grease or petroleum grease.
